As a lawyer, I take nothing for granted and prove myself every day to my clients, other lawyers, judges, and juries. I know what it takes to succeed personally and professionally. This practice has led me to be listed by the National Trial Lawyers as one of the top 100 trial lawyers in the nation, and as one of the top 5% of lawyers in the state by Super Lawyers of Pennsylvania.
Since 1977 I have tried hundreds of cases and have settled many more because every case is prepared for trial. I never forget that what most clients want most is to have their life back to how it was before.
If you have been injured or involved in an accident in Philadelphia, any of the surrounding counties or the State of New Jersey, call me now for a FREE consultation. Once hired, you only pay us when we win the case for you.
In keeping with our mission statement, we feel that our three main duties are to our client, the profession, and to the community. In each of these areas there may be many other duties and responsibilities, however, our adherence to these goals has made us the successful law firm we are today.
Let us discuss these goals in reverse order. We do this because we are most proud of our pro bono activities. This firm is involved significantly with Special Olympics, cancer research, local homeless programs, local food relief programs, etc. We are most proud of our work with the Support Center for Child Advocates. We represent children who are victims of unfortunate and, many times, criminal circumstances. This allows us to work with social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, community activists, and home placement services. It is a joy to work with these young children to find them placement after they have been separated from their families due to either drug addicted parents, parents who have committed suicide, where one parent murders another, or where a single mother simply gives up. Our work in this area is so vital to the continuation of a sense of family to these young victims that we are reticent to classify this as pro bono work.
Our commitment to the profession is in a number of ways. Specifically when we try a case we strive to raise the level of advocacy not only of ourselves, but of opposing counsel. This shines a light so brightly on us and our client that the very same light illuminates a clear path to a favorable verdict. Have no doubt that judges and juries are impressed by good advocacy. Our cases are won before we leave our office and we present this winning case in a courtroom.
The second aspect of our duty to our profession is in educating others by giving seminars. Mr. Branigan has given a number of seminars in Trial Advocacy. We have also given a number of local educational seminars to groups regarding insurance policies and coverage. As a member of Toastmaster's International, Mr. Branigan has honed his skills as a public speaker. Having achieved a LL.M. in Trial Advocacy, Mr. Branigan is dedicated to the arts of advocacy. Our firm is A.V. rated and Mr. Branigan was again named one of Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers.
Our first priority in any case is the client. We first define our ultimate goal and everything from that point is geared towards that goal. Achieving a satisfactory result for a client allows the practice of law and the business of a law office to combine nicely in that the client is encouraged to personally recommend to others. This allows us to continue doing work for our clients, for the profession, and for our community.
